Whoo! It take as a lot of work to put together a dinner! We’ve found an amazing chef – Annie (and Bob) DeCoteau of Rise Artisan Bread. We’ve settled on a rough menu (smoked turkey and brisket!) and we’ve got our band lined up (thank you to the Wilson’s for joining us again!) Our friends at the Farmer and Adele are graciously hosting us again and have provided more table space so we can have more friends join in the fun! We can’t wait to spend an evening watching the sun go down over Berthoud with all of you again. Ticket prices are $80, that includes all of the above plus an array of desserts (have you had one of Darlene’s pies?) and an open bar.

We are so excited for a new event we have scheduled for March! We will be hosting a silent auction and dinner at Hale and Bradford’s Tasting Room in Berthoud. Hey, we need to pay bills, too, so we are hoping you will join us for some fun to help support Berthoud Local. We already have a great array of silent auction items pouring in from local businesses and artisans. I mean, come on, we are Berthoud Local! We are all about our local businesses!
This event will also feature a taco bar, and you guessed it, we are working on locally sourced ingredients! We are hoping you will join us for some fun, food, music and our auction. Meet the Board of Berthoud Local, find out what we do, and how we support local food in our community. We’ll have information available on how you can get involved, about our Community Garden in Pioneer Park, the Farmer’s Market and our wonderful Farm to Table dinner.
March 26 – 6-9 PM at Hale and Bradford’s upstairs. We hope to see you there!
Planning is coming along smoothly for our Farm to Table Dinner. We have chefs lined up and working on our menu, from One Point Six North. We have music lined up with Pennies on the Track. We are working feverishly on all other details to make a great event for all. You can see the details unfold here, tickets are available for purchase!
We can’t wait to spend an evening with you, wonderful food, great music and the views of the Rockies!
We are planning our Farm to Table dinner for Saturday, September 22. Details are still forthcoming, but save that spot. We’ll start selling tickets shortly and hope you can join us for local food, fun and comraderie! The event is being hosted at Farmer and Adele’s right here in Berthoud. Featuring local food and music, it’s going to be a great time!
2018 will be our 5th year of of the Berthoud Local Farmers Market! From humble beginnings of just a handful of vendors, the market has grown to a thriving market in the center of Berthoud. In fact, it has grown so much we have decided that we can no longer run it with an all-volunteer crew.
So Berthoud Local is looking to hire a Market Director! This is a terrific opportunity to get involved with our great community, and usher the market into it’s next great phase. If you are passionate about local food, organizing a lot of pieces to fit into one smooth running operation, this will be a great job for you!

What’s that they say? We don’t need to collect more stuff – you should give the gift of Experiences to your friends and loved-ones. Well, we’ve got just the thing for someone interested in local food, gardening, and even a bit of homesteading:

This Saturday September 24th will bring to a close the Berthoud Local Farmers Market’s 3rd Season – and we are going out with a bang in the form of the Farm Stand Band festival!
City Star Brewing’s Farm Stand Band is a celebration of a successful summer market in Fickel Park, Berthoud, Colorado. The free family friendly event revolves around performances with musical instruments that are crafted from non-traditional garden and farm themed produce and tools: carrot flutes, garden rake bass, pumpkin tuba, etc.
We invite everyone to come and join us. Bring a vegetable or other farm/garden related instrument and join our Talent Show to strut your stuff! Or get in on the Relay Race. Listen to the music of The Prairie Scholars. Find out about the ““Chase The Music Project” Featuring The Potlikkers“. Bring your monster zucchini’s to the Berthoud Local booth to enter our Biggest Zucch Contest. And many other all day events including the antique tractor show, live music, food, and City Star Beer!
See Ya There! Market runs 9:00-1:00, with some vendors staying until 4:00. The festival runs 11:00-5:00.
