How to Butcher Chickens

In the modern age of factory farms and mass-produced meat, raising and butchering your own meat birds is a rare skill to possess. Join Kristin Ramey of Long Shadow Farm to learn about the difference between factory poultry and home grown and learn the art of butchering your own meat birds. This will be a hands-on workshop entailing the actual butchering of live birds. Attendees will have the option of watching or participating, as well as the option of taking home up to two freshly butchered birds for home consumption. Registration Required, see below.
